6 Month Update

It is Valentine's day and our baby's half birthday. He's 6 months old already- We can't believe it! This has been a very eventful month in the Dahms household. There have been a lot of firsts: Ryan's first cold, first time sitting up without support, first time he found his hair on his head (he likes to pull it- ow!), first time he began to roll all over the place, 1st time holding a bottle with handles, 1st solid foods and 1st tooth! The biggest first has probably been that Ryan began eating solids in January- now can't seem to get enough of them. He now lets us know he's ready for his dinner when he sits in his high chair with his mouth wide open! Mom has taken on a new adventure- making baby food purees. She is slowly learning how to be more savvy in the kitchen! Another big milestone has been the emergence of teeth. Ryan now has two bottom front teeth- he chews on everything he can get his hands on! Our family and friends always comment on how Ryan is such a happy baby. We truly are very blessed. We can't tell our friends and family enough how much we love being parents. On this special day to remember the people you love, Joe and I thank God we have be given this precious little boy to teach us the true meaning of selfless, unconditional love.
